FIGURE & GROUND VIDEO-TO-VINYL SESSIONS

In 2017, we embarked on the Figure & Ground 10-inch vinyl sessions, a private video & vinyl series. The label released a set of hyper-limited lathe cut 10” records, featuring a live video of Side A, filmed and recorded live at the Chamber of Commerce (RIP), a storefront studio in Ditmas Park. Side A is available exclusively on Bandcamp/YouTube. Side B features exclusive B-sides — new songs, interludes, outtakes, alt takes — not on digital platforms.

The 10” records are mastered and hand cut onto wax in an edition of 20 by engineer/guitarist Henry Ott. The music is engineered by Lily Wen and packaged with original risograph prints by Gonzalo Guerrero at Secret Riso Club and a silk-screened innersleeve.
